Executive Managing Director
Manoj Sharma is the Executive Managing Director of Xerox Legal Services. Prior to his current role, Manoj served as the Chief Operating Officer & Managing Director at Buck Consultants, a division of Xerox Services, where he was responsible for all aspects of Buck’s corporate strategy, operations and P&L responsibility for several Buck lines of business. Mr. Sharma joined Buck after serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Willis North America Benefits, a division of Willis Group Holdings, where he was responsible for strategic planning to drive revenue growth, operations and technology initiatives. His previous roles include founding partner and Managing Director of a venture incubator and management consultant at Accenture and iXL/Scient, Inc. Mr. Sharma has served on the board of directors and advisory boards of several technology companies. He holds an MS from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Gabriela P. Baron, Esq.
Senior Vice President
Gaby Baron is responsible for overseeing all of Xerox Litigation Services’ business development activities. She joined Xerox Litigation Services’ predecessor company, Amici LLC, in 2004 as General Counsel and later transitioned into business development. Today, Gaby still serves as Account Executive for several of the company's largest accounts. Gaby has assisted Xerox Litigation Services’ largest clients with regulatory investigations, major class actions, employment matters and commercial cases filed in federal and state courts. Previously, Gaby practiced law for eight years as a litigator at a law firm where she specialized in securities litigation, IP matters involving medical devices, employment and general commercial litigation. She is a graduate of New York University School of Law and Vassar College, and speaks frequently at industry events on e-discovery-related topics.
Andrew D. Barrett
Vice President, Finance
Andy Barrett is responsible for financial planning and analysis, contract and pricing negotiations, accounting, billing and accounts receivable for Xerox Litigation Services. Andy’s expertise in each of these areas ensures a comprehensive view of revenue and profit delivery across all aspects of XLS operations and support. In his 25 years with Xerox Corporation, Andy has performed a variety of roles, including Billing Analyst, Technology Manager, Billing & Cash Program Manager, Federal Origination Manager and Federal Contracts Manager. He joined Xerox Litigation Services in January 2007 as the Pricing and Contracts Manager. Andy attended American University, where he studied Management Information Systems.
Vice President, Document Operations
Adam Bell is responsible for all data processing for e-discovery, from collection to production. Document Operations is a 24×365 data processing team, with a staff of 150 people. Prior to joining Xerox Litigation Services, Adam was Vice President of Technical Operations at iLinc Communications, a start-up web-conferencing company. In that role, he was responsible for all aspects of technical operations for the company, including development, IT and hosting, and customer service. Prior to iLinc, Adam was IT Director for the largest law firm in Albany, New York, where he managed IT operations and built, implemented and maintained extensive litigation support systems, using both off-the-shelf and internally developed database systems. Adam holds a Masters degree from the State University of New York at Albany and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont.
Senior Vice President
As Founder and President of Lateral Data, now a Xerox company, Matt Berry is responsible for strategic planning and technology initiatives in addition to managing the company’s growth mission and operational objectives. Matt previously served as co-founder and President of Diamed, a national mail delivery medical supply company which was acquired in June of 2003. With revenues around $10 million at the time of acquisition, Diamed provided services to over 30,000 customers nationwide. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rice University and his Juris Doctorate degree from South Texas College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
Vice President, Development
Jason Horth is responsible for software development at Xerox Litigation Services. His extensive experience in technical project management, database design, distributed data processing, and advanced data analytics help him drive Xerox's electronic discovery technology platforms forward. With a global team of over 100 employees, his teams build innovative solutions that meet the dynamic and challenging demands of the e-discovery industry. Prior to his current role, Jason held the position of Director of Technical Services, Operations; in this role he managed operations development. He joined Xerox Litigation Services’ predecessor company, Amici LLC, in 2004 as a software developer. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University at Buffalo.
Senior Vice President, Sales
Andy Jenkins, Senior Vice President, Sales, joined Xerox (previously Affiliated Computer Services, or ACS) in 1996. He currently leads a team of sales and business development professionals, and has responsibility for leading the sales and account management functions for XLS. Andy has managed business development for numerous lines of business within Xerox, comprising a portfolio of businesses representing more than $1.4 billion dollars of revenue annually.
In previous roles, Andy served as Managing Director for the company’s European division, Regional Vice President and Vice President of Sales for the Finance & Accounting outsourcing division.
Andy has a total of 18 years of services industry experience. His areas of expertise include a strong background in legal, HR, finance and accounting, brokering large multiprocess outsourcing deals, managing and growing client accounts, global leadership experience and leading sales teams to achieve revenue goals through effective sales leadership.
Christopher Jensen, Esq.
Senior Vice President
Christopher C. Jensen, Esq. (CJ) is Senior Vice President, where he serves as the Director of Emerging Business. In the role, Jensen spearheads the exploration and creation of new business offerings that include outsourcing and insourcing options for the legal and regulatory needs of clients. As such, CJ helps identify and vet strategic hires and key M&A opportunities for the business unit. Most recently, CJ was president and founding partner of TrustPoint International, which he grew to revenues to more than $60M in four years. Prior to TrustPoint, CJ was a Senior Vice President at Hudson Legal, where he managed all 12 of their branch offices that accounted for approximately $150M in revenue. Throughout his career, CJ has won many awards for individual sales contributions and has been recognized by his peers and within the legal services industry for growing and managing large business development teams.
Sheila Mackay brings over 20 years of experience in electronic discovery. Currently, she is responsible for business development for some of Xerox Litigation Services’ largest clients and assists with a wide range of complex litigation and regulatory investigations. Previously, Sheila formed and managed Xerox’s electronic discovery consulting group, which advises corporations and law firms on all aspects of e-discovery. Prior to joining Xerox Litigation Services, Sheila operated her own consulting firm focused on electronic discovery product positioning, marketing and development. She also held leadership positions at Bingham; Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, and Hogan & Hartson (now Hogan Lovells). Sheila holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Senior Vice President, Business Operations
Paul Matthews is responsible for technology infrastructure to support Xerox Litigation Services' platform environment. He is an expert in distributed computer systems architecture and network security and understands how to translate ever-changing client needs into successful technical solutions. Prior to joining Xerox Litigation Services, Paul was the lead Systems Architect for Intranaut Inc., where he provided systems design and support for high-availability, distributed computing applications. He also worked at Duffelbag.com, an online music retailer, as the Systems Architect; in this role he developed systems architecture and supported operations from start-up through rapid growth and acquisition. Paul studied Computer Science at the University of Utah.
Christopher C. O’Brien, Esq.
Senior Vice President, Corporate Development
Chris O’Brien is responsible for general operations and human resources. Prior to joining Xerox Litigation Services, Chris served as General Counsel to New York State Governor George E. Pataki. In that role, he oversaw major cases involving the Governor and other State officials and coordinated the review of judicial candidates for appointment by the Governor. Chris also advised the Governor and senior staff on matters relating to economic development, taxation, and racing and wagering. Previously, Chris served as Deputy Commissioner and General Counsel of the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, a 5,000-person agency that collects and administers in excess of $40 billion annually. As Chief Legal Officer, a staff of approximately 80 attorneys reported directly to him, including a large litigation department that handled all tax-related litigation for the State. Earlier in his career, Chris was in private practice and handled various commercial litigation matters. Chris is a graduate of Albany Law School of Union University (cum laude) and Hobart College.
Vice President, Viewpoint Services
Imer co-founded Smart Data Consulting, now part of Xerox. Imer is responsible for many of the strategic initiatives around Viewpoint deployment to clients. Prior to forming Smart Data, Imer served as Chief Operating Officer for Scarab Consulting, a national litigation support service provider. Previously, Imer founded and grew the RLS New York office into a profitable operation, the largest office in the RLS brand, which was successfully sold to Scarab Consulting. He then continued to play a key role in national acquisition strategies up until the formation of Smart Data. Imer holds a dual Bachelors degree in Finance and International Business.
Ellen J. Polhamus
Vice President, Client Services
Ellen Polhamus is responsible for leading and managing Xerox Litigation Services’ team of more than 50 client services and project management professionals. As one of the largest client support teams in the industry, this group is responsible for delivering beginning-to-end e-discovery services designed to create efficiencies throughout the process. Ellen brings more than 25 years of legal management and operations experience to this role. Prior to joining Xerox Litigation Services, she held senior leadership client services positions for several large international law firms, including Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and K&L Gates LLP. Prior to these positions, Ellen spent ten years at E. I. DuPont de Nemours & Co., where she led initiatives for a legal assistant program and oversaw the development of in-house litigation support capabilities. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Geneva College and a Masters of Science in Information Studies from Drexel University.
Vice President, Viewpoint Services
Ed Robles is a founding Partner of Smart Data Consulting, now part of Xerox. He is responsible for the Viewpoint managed services division of Xerox. As a recognized expert in electronic discovery and discovery management issues, Ed advises on implementation and planning issues associated with all phases of electronic discovery in litigations and investigations as well as electronically stored information management policies and practices. Previously, Ed served as Senior Vice President for Scarab Consulting where he was responsible for the New York market. His responsibilities ranged from leading the electronic discovery consulting practice in addition to the business operations as a whole. Ed also created a new business line for Document Technologies, Inc., which became one of the most successful businesses in the nation. Ed holds a BA from Cornell University.
Senior Vice President, E-Discovery Consulting
Bill Schiefelbein oversees Xerox Litigation Services’ consulting division, which performs e-discovery, technology, compliance and information governance consulting services to major corporate and law firm clients. He brings 20+ years experience in professional services management, consulting and support services, with deep experience in e-discovery, compliance and information technology. Prior to joining Xerox, Bill was founder and managing director of Schiefelbein Analytics, LLC, acquired by TechLaw Solutions, Inc. in 2013, where he served as COO and managing director of consulting. Bill previously held senior e-discovery and information management leadership positions as Managing Director of E-Discovery at Howrey LLP, Chair of the Electronic Discovery Practice at LECG Corporation, and Chief Information Officer at Williams & Connolly LLP and Dorsey & Whitney LLP. Bill also served as vice president of e-government and statewide IT strategy, policy and governance for a $400 million government function. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and Northwestern University.
Vice President, Marketing
Rachel Teisch oversees all of Xerox Legal Services’ marketing initiatives. She brings 14 years of experience in marketing and business development in e-discovery technology, services and consulting. Prior to joining Xerox Legal Services, Rachel served as head of global marketing for CloudShare, a cloud computing company. Previously, she led marketing at H5, an e-discovery company, and held various business and strategy positions at Navigant Consulting. Rachel holds a Master’s degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University.
Vice President, Strategy & Special Initiatives
Christine Yi is responsible for working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams on corporate strategy, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, practice development, and launching initiatives and new lines of businesses for Xerox Legal Services. She also serves as acting head of Xerox Managed Review, where she oversees the day-to-day operations and business activities of the managed review services group. Prior to joining Xerox, she was with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP and Huron Consulting Group. Christine has over 12 years of legal services and consulting experience in legal discovery, analytics, law department operations, strategic management consulting and the use of advanced technology for business improvement and optimal operations performance. Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton.
